Many of the tunes that released as singles became hits in both Jamaica and the UK. The sweetest of harmony vocals singing songs of Marcus Garvey, repatriation, longing for Black brothers and sisters to know their worth...all floating over trademark Jamaican Rocker’s Riddims, almost puts you in a trance. Even the cover is beautiful, no frills or anything to hide behind. As if they’re saying to the world “Here we are, Black and Proud.” Strong yet vulnerable, just like many of the tunes.
